Sankey are equipped with specialised high speed presses incorporating the latest computer technology including interlocking to provide customised;

• Rotor only and stator only laminations
• Stator segment laminations
• Field, bar & armature laminations
• Armature only laminations
• Pole piece laminations for high volume applications

Sankey can also produce large diameter (max1100mmOD) motor laminations needed for original equipment or for the refurbishment of old equipment. This requires specialised slotting presses, circle cutting and de-buring and an extensive range of tooling. Robotics are used for higher volume orders in this highly specialised business.
